The versatile Model 501 door can be engineered to meet various windload ratings. Our model numbers carry windload ratings listed in pounds per square foot of pressure (PSF). The actual miles per hour of windspeed resistance is a much higher number.

Creating a wind-resistant door involves several changes to the door design; such as.

Changing the gauge (thickness) of the steel guides used to mount the door to the building shell.
Using a thicker steel in the door curtain.
Limiting the door width and height to create a stiffer door.
Utilizing side windlocks, or upgrading them from nylon to steel.

Model 536 Light-Duty Roll Up Door

Model 536 is manufactured with the same standards as all our commercial roll-up doors, only with a 9 1/2" Model 536 roll up door drum assembly requiring lesser headroom for proper installation.

Size is limited to a maximum 12' wide by 12' high, with a shaft-mounted chain hoist standard on sizes over 10' wide by 10' high.

Available in 22 pre-finished colors, like our entire line of rolling steel doors, The Model 536 features a polyester base and top coat to provide a long lasting durable finish, eliminating the added expense of field painting.

Quality design and strong construction allows for mounting to wood, masonry, or steel jambs. The Model 536 is identical in appearance to our other models, allowing the use of several models on the same job site. The Model 536 roll up door is available in sizes up to 12' (3048mm) x 12' (3048mm).

Model 601 Medium-Duty Roll Up Door

Model 601 roll up door The smoothest operating corrugated door in the industry! Our Model 601 Series doors are engineered for frequent use and longevity, offering proven quality and tremendous value.

Model 601 Roll Up Doors that are greater than 10' x 10' are provided with a chain hoist. If you prefer, our rolling sheet doors may be equipped with an electric operator, with the type varying by size of the door.

The LGO operator is our standard operator. It is manufactured so that it can be used in small sideroom applications. Doors using a reduced drive chain hoist require 6-1/2” sideroom for the mounting bracket. Using the LGO with our mounting bracket only requires an additional 2”.

Features of the LGO operator include:

1/2 HP, 115V, single-phase motor. The LGO can be wall mounted if sideroom permits.
LGO comes with a built in receiver and is easily programmed with the touch of a single button. This receiver allows it to work with remotes and programmable key pads alike.
LGO operators come with photo eyes that reverse the door to the opened position if something is blocking the opening. Pneumatic or electric safety edge is easily wired in for additional safety if requested.
Note: LGO operators do not have chain hoist ability.

Model 601 Series doors have all the impressive features of our Model 536 doors plus:

Model 652 Heavy-Duty Wind Rated Door

Featuring the newest technology in windload roll-up doors, the Model 652 Windlock roll-up door is designed to meet windloads of up to 66 psf. The UHM (Ultra High Molecular) Nylon windlocks on the 652 Model 651/652 rolling sheet door pictures design provide smoother and quieter operation without the noise of metal to metal contact.
