We used to state these loads as miles per hour (MPH), then the building code writers decided to make it a little more complex and changed it to pounds per square foot of pressure (PSF). This chart will give you a rough conversion from PSF to MPH. Check will your local building inspector to see if the stated PSF for our door meets the requirements for your county, parrish or municipality.
