Access-A-Deck Mezzanine System:
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Why don't you offer instant online pricing for this product? We are working on online pricing for some straight forward "out of the box" scenarios, but that type of pricing will have to be limited because of the very nature of the products intended use. Since the purpose of the Access-A-Deck System is to fill empty pre-existing space, our customer is driven by the limitations of that space. For example: what is its shape? are there any obstactles such as support columns? what are the height contraints? These are things that a representative needs to evaluate on the proposed site.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Why do you only offer this product in a limited area? Eventually we will have people in place to service other territories, but for now we are limited to the defined area.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Do you provide the floor for the second level? Yes. We have a 125psf steel flooring system available for the second floor.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Do I have to have a material lift for each "island"? No. We can use a bridge to connect the islands.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Is there any tax advantage to the Access-A-Deck System? Yes. Most units will qualify as relocatable storage or racking systems and may therefore be afforded accelerated depreciation.
General Questions:
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Why doesn’t my purchase order include tax? We are only required to charge sales or use tax in those States where our company has nexus (persons or property connected to our company). Cabot Components Corporation is located in the State of Arkansas and we are required to collect tax for shipments that will be received in Arkansas. This does not mean that you are relieved of your responsibility to remit the appropriate tax to your State, County (Parish) or municipality. In fact, many States now require that you report Internet purchases, for which you did not pay sales or use tax, on your annual State Income Tax return.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.If sales or use tax were otherwise applicable, would you still charge me tax if I am reselling the product? If you possess and present a valid Resale Certificate issued by your State, then we are not required to charge you sales or use tax. However, it is your responsibility to collect the tax from your customer and remit it to the State.
Insulation:
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.I want to put the insulation in my attic space. Are the rolls small enough to fit through my opening? This is a tough question since it depends on the size of your attic opening. Most people asking this question are referring to a "pull down stairs" type of opening. Typically, the smallest dimension of these openings is 26" while a standard roll of insulation has a diameter of nearly 38". Therefore, in most cases, you will not be able to fit a packaged roll of insulation through your opening. Additionally, you must consider that the weight of the roll most often purchased for this purpose weighs approximately 70 pounds. But don't despair, you can unroll the product and pull it through your opening or pre-cut it downstairs, where it is typically cooler and then take it up to the attic. We save you some money by producing this material in long rolls versus short pre-cut sections.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.I don't know how much insulation I need for by building. Will you calculate it for me? Yes, we will be happy to calculate how much insulation or Solarguard you need. Just fill out the online form and we will quote you a price, usually the same business day.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Do you recommend using patch tape to seal where blanket insulation joins? No we do not generally recommend this course of action. The bond between the two items does not hold very well, particularly when using long pieces of tape. For more information, read the "Use of Patch Tape to Seal Insulation Joints" News Bulletin.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.What is Solarguard? Solarguard is a revolutionary new reflective insulation consisting of a 1/4" fiberglass core bonded to either two layers of 99% pure aluminum or one layer of aluminum and one layer of durable white scrim-reinforced facing material, whichever you choose.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Is fiberglass insulation a "green" product? Yes. Reports indicate that insulation currently in place in the United States saves approximately 11 quadrillion BTUs of energy every year.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Is fiberglass insulation combustible? Fiberglass insulation, which is made from sand and recycled glass, is naturally non-combustible.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.What purpose does the facing serve on fiberglass insulation? It is in general a vapor retarder, which if properly installed helps resist the movement of moisture toward cold surfaces where it could condense. Proper installation is facing applied toward the "warm-in-winter part of the building.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.What is "R" value? R-value is a measure of a materials resistance to heat flow. In other words, how well the material resists transferring heat from one location to another. Generally, insulation ranges from R-11 to R-38 with the higher number having greater insulating power.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.What is the benefit of adding insulation to my metal building? Insulation in your metal building will provide some noise control in addition to condensation control and energy savings. Depending on the facing, it may also provide enhanced light reflectivity.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Where do you use Solarguard? Solarguard is designed for use in either commercial buildings (metal or post and frame) or homes.

'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.What is the square foot cost of a modular office? The cost will vary depending on ceiling height, interior walls, and number of doors, windows and other options. This cost generally varies between $15.00 and $40.00 per square foot.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.How long does it take to install a modular office system? Installation is quick, clean and easy. Typically, your office will be completely functional in one-fourth the time of permanent construction. You drastically reduce your down time with no mess, dust, or debris. Often, your Starrco designed modular office can be installed over the weekend, ready Monday morning for your employees to work in a clean, quiet, comfortable environment.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Does installation require skilled labor? No. Each project includes a set of CAD generated drawings and installation instructions. Each component is individually labeled for easy identification. All material is pre-cut, mitered and completely finished with no taping, sanding or painting required. Also, these modular office systems have built-in raceways for easy installation of electrical, telephone and computer wiring.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.What are the sound and thermal ratings of your system? Depending on the type of panel you select, our offices have an STC rating up to 33 with a thermal rating of R13. To learn about STC ratings, read our Sound Control PDF document.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.What are the tax advantages of a modular office? Modular offices can be completely dismantled, relocated and reassembled. This mobility allows a modular office to be classified as “tangible property” and therefore afforded special tax treatment. To learn more, read the Tax Advantages PDF document.
'width' is a duplicate attribute name. Line 1, position 37.Do you offer panel type, color and equipment options?
