Cabot Components Corporation is proud to offer sectional doors to our professional contractors, builders and commercial property owners.  We offer outstanding overhead doors to help you complete your most demanding projects. With multiple steel gauge, insulation, and glazing options, our sectional door line has the product flexibility to meet your needs.  These doors are top notch and recognized as an industry workhorses.  Many of these models are available in three configurations; single layer, double layer and triple layer construction and as insulated or non-insulated doors.  In the following narratives, we will discuss available models, options, colors and wind-ratings.  Just for reference our models, listed from lightest duty to heaviest duty are Models 2500, 2400, 2000, 1380, 1000, 2700, 3500 and 3550.

Features common to all of these sectional doors:

Track:  2" or 3" track available in Standard Lift, High Lift, Vertical Lift, Low-Headroom and Follow-The-Roof-Pitch Lift.

Hardware:  Hardware consists of minimum 14 gauge galvanized steel hinges and 13 gauge galvanized steel brackets.  All rollers have minimum 10-ball bearings.

Springs:  Torsion springs oil tempered, helical wound and custom computed for each door.  Minimum 10,000 cycle life with optional springs rated up to 100,000 cycle life.

Section Options:  Unbroken panel or options for either 24" x 4" Plexiglass, 24" x 12" Plexiglass, 24" x 12" Insulated Plexiglass or Full View.

Model 2000, 2400 and 2500 Series Commercial Doors

Models 2000, 2400, and 2500 are industry workhorses and our most versatile models.  These open-back doors are available in a variety of steel gauges and feature tongue and groove construction with a bottom weatherseal to guard against the elements.  These doors can be factory-modified or field-modified with CFC-free polystyrene insulation to fit the needed application.  These sectional doors are available in a single layer open-back design, double layer insulated back design and the popular triple layer insulated steel back design.  Each door features tongue and groove construction with a bottom weatherseal to guard against the elements.  The model 2400 is available prepainted in either Commercial White or Brown.  Models 2000 and 2500 are available in Commercial White only.  Panel thicknesses for the Models 2500, 2400 and 2000 are 25 gauge, 24 gauge and 20 gauge respectively.

The Model 2400 sectional overhead door is available in a wind-rated version designed to 145 mph wind.

Model 1380 Sectional Door


Model 1380 features two steel skins surrounding 1-3/8 inches of CFC-free polystyrene.

Each skin is made of 27-gauge steel to provide a solid wall of protection from the elements.  Our 4-step insulation system features insulation, weather-stripping, thermal break, and tongue and groove construction for a snug fit between sections.

The exterior face is stucco embossed and ribbed with shallow grooves.  The interior surface is stucco embossed.

Model 1380 is available pre-painted in Commercial White.

Model 1000 Sectional Door

Solid steel construction is the basis for the Model 1000 door.

Two tough steel skins surround 2 inches of CFC-free polystyrene insulation.  In addition, a thermal break creates a barrier to keep heat and cold from transferring through the door.  Each Model 1000 features heavy-duty hardware for smooth operation.

To help resist dents, the outer skin is made of strong 24-gauge steel and the interior skin is made of 27-gauge steel.  The interior and exterior faces of the door feature stucco embossing and the exterior has shallow ribs.

Model 1000 is available pre-painted in Commercial White.

Model 2700 Sectional Door

Model 2700 is the top-of-the-line R-Value door designed exclusively for the Commercial and Industrial sectional overhead door market.

It is constructed using foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation which creates a strong monolithic panel that is energy efficient.

Each Model 2700 is secured with standard 14-gauge, galvanized steel hinges.  The interior skin of each section has two continuous horizontal 20-gauge reinforcing strips.  The section joint is thermally broken and chemically bonded with a pressure-sensitive adhesive sealant.  An Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, M-class, (EPDM) rubber weather seal further enhances the performance of the joint.

Model 2700 is available pre-painted in Commercial White and Commercial Brown.

Model 3500 is an aluminum full-view door constructed of 2" thick extruded aluminum rails and stiles and can be fitted with solid aluminum panels or full-view glass.  Perfect for service stations or fire stations - this aluminum door creates a clean look for any facility.
